Fira Art Gallery is proud to present a forthcoming collection of new works by Mamoun Al Shayeb, an internationally acclaimed Palestinian artist whose remarkable career spans over four decades. Recognised for his exceptional technical skill, powerful storytelling, and deep cultural expression, Al Shayeb has established himself as one of the most respected contemporary Palestinian artists working today.

Born in Damascus, Syria, on 9 April 1960, and originally from Tira, Haifa, Palestine, Mamoun Al Shayeb graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Damascus in 1984, specialising in Oil Painting. Following graduation, he devoted 25 years to teaching Fine Arts in UNRWA schools in Damascus, inspiring generations of young artists while continuing to develop his own distinctive artistic voice.

In 2013, he emigrated with his family to Sweden, where he now resides in Landskrona. His artistic influence has continued to grow internationally, and for the past several years he has operated a permanent gallery in Sweden, welcoming art collectors, enthusiasts, and visitors from around the world.

Mamoun Al Shayeb is a member of numerous prestigious artistic organisations, including the Palestinian Artists Union, Syrian Artists Union, Union of Arab Artists, and the European Artists Union. Throughout his distinguished career, he has participated in many international exhibitions and has held dozens of successful solo exhibitions across Europe.
